Clemson is located in the upstate of South Carolina just along the shores of Lake Hartwell. At Clemson, students have the benefit of being right on a lake but also being in the foothills. Everywhere on campus allows for a beautiful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains, which only adds to the aesthetic appeal of this campus. Clemson is the quintessential college town but is only a few hours from cities such as Columbia, South Carolina and Athens, Georgia. The town itself is small but it has a big personality.
